User Memory Bank §

User memory is writable, which contents are specific to the application and tag usage. User memory is used for storing additional data that does not fit into the EPC memory or is not suitable for EPC storage.

Many types doesn’t have user memory bank to reduce costs, because most of the times, EPC memory is sufficient to be the ID of the tag, and additional data can be stored in the system databases or back ends.
