ACS ACR1552U-M1

CCID & PC/SC compliant smart card reader, developed based on 13.56MHz contactless technology. This plug-and-play NFC reader is equipped with a built-in SAM slot, providing key diversification and mutual authentication to enhance the security of contactless transactions.

ACR1552U is supports for various types of smart cards, including ISO 14443 Type A and B Contactless Cards, MIFARE® Cards, FeliCa, ISO 18092 NFC, and ISO 15693 Cards.

It offers support for three modes of NFC including,

  • Smart Card reader/writer mode
  • Card emulation mode
  • Keyboard emulation mode

Compatible with major operating systems such as Windows®, Linux®, macOS and Android™, the ACR1552U and adaptable.

Fido Support

The ACR1552U supports FIDO (Fast IDentity Online) authentication protocols, making it compatible with FIDO-enabled devices such as PocketKey and YubiKey. This enables secure, passwordless login and strong 2FA authentication for online services. By leveraging the NFC capabilities of the ACR1552U, users can conveniently authenticate themselves by simply tapping their FIDO-enabled NFC device on the reader.
