Inband Commands (IB)
| Function | Enables or disables inband (TCP) programming |
| Set (S) command format | SIBx, where x: 0 (disabled), 1 (enabled) |
| Get (G) command format | GIB |
| Initialize (I) command effect | Initialized unconditionally, through network command, or serial command |
| Post-initialization value | 0 (disabled) |
| Change takes effect | After reboot |
| Relevance conditions | Current Transport Protocol (TP) setting = 1 (TCP) |
Inband Commands setting defines whether inband (TCP) programming is enabled or disabled.
This Setting is irrelevant when the current Transport Protocol (TP) is 0 (UDP) because inband command passing is only possible when TCP/IP is used for data connections between the network host and the device.
